Last year, Google sold all the seats for its developer conference, Google I/O, over the course of 50 days. Google engineering VP Vic Gundotra just posted on Twitter that this year's I/O conference has sold out in less than an hour. I know many developers who couldn't get a session on the server which was hosting the registration process.
It's good to be an attendee from past years. I registered last Thursday. ;)

How did you get to register last thursday? I have been to all but the second one and I had to register with everyone else... :(
It is pretty amazing though to see it go that fast.
