A great way to arrange a Disney vacation

I'm off to Disney World at the end of the day tomorrow, and I don't know who's going to have more fun-- me, or the kids. I haven't been to a Disney theme park since I was 11 years old and very nearly fell out of the Space Mountain roller coaster. You know that bad boy's on my list of rides to tame this time around (that, and going through the haunted house as many times as I can).

And I do want to give some props to the person who arranged our whole vacation, Sandy, who runs Instant Impressions Travel Services. Because she goes to Disney at least four times a year with her young daughter, she knows the park in and out, including rides, lodging, transportation, and dining. And the best part? Having her book your vacation is completely free to you.

Have fun! We generally go once (or twice) a year. Kids love it of course.

In fact I was giving Bernie my tips for your first time at Disney World and he said I should make a post about it.

I just got back from Disney World on Monday. No kids, just the wife and I. We went there on a business trip and 2.5 days running around playing. Here are my tips.

1) You MUST go to Epcot and try the ride that offers you to travel to Mars. Can't remember its name, its to the left after you enter. It is intense. Maybe too much for claustrophobic people and kids.

2) Fastpass is your friend. We never waited in any line longer then 15 minutes. This was new to us as a concept, but really really comes in handy.

3) Don't expect to find breakfast at Epcot. Not sure why, but they don't have any.

4) Try to catch The Cirque du Soleil in Downtown Disney. It was the best part of our trip in my opinion. The rest of our trip was great, but I was blown away by the performance. Related to that, make sure to check out Lego land in Downtown. Its free (downtown disney) and lego land is full of HUGE things built with legos.

5) The safari tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom was really great. I saw a lot more than I expected.

@Josh, I heard the same thing from a friend about the Mars ride-- that it's a fantastic experience, but a little hard for claustrophobics. He said that he thought the claustrophobic woman next to him was going to panic until the video came on, at which point she felt as if she was on the wide-open Mars landscape!
